Can't see strike two getting up, too many vested interests making bank from lending out shares for shorters, those holding short will double down in support of the BOD as failure with them at the helm is a certainty.
As for selling at low prices I think you will see plenty of retail holders sell out in the pre AGM short squeeze as shorters will look to derisk just in case strike two does get up.
