You can't be serious ... YOU CAN NOT BE SERIOUS ...

"put aside the name-calling and the potshots" ... this is the SYA forum and you guys (and you too @arfbarf ) dish it out heavily.

So NO, I wont concede the high moral ground to you or any other name-calling, potshot-posting "contributor" on this board.

And NO, @Bohds no signs of "stress" for me on PLL (already been repaid my invested capital and then some) or SYA (if it goes to zero is small relative loss). Now ALB ... that's different .. but doesn't concern you.

And yes, it is "too much trouble" ... as those formulas and variable settings are not known --- IT'S SPECULATION --- and so while the default position here is to speculate PLL is screwed, my default response is prove it is screwed ... and you can't do that either

Now, keeping it to things that are known ... Balance Sheet for example/
Are you familiar with the term "Net Cash", how it is (roughly) calculated and its meaning??? Apparently not is my first thought

Net Cash = Cash Balance - Current Liabilities. The big deal here is generally the Accounts Payable number
    SYA Net Cash = AUD$90,624,000 - AUD$88,293,000 = AUD$2,331,000 ....~US$1,554,000
    PLL Net Cash = US$58,978,000 - US$36,017,000 = US$22,961,000

Why the fixation on Net Cash ... because thats the company's liquidity ...Short term investments (e.g. PLL's ALL shares) are not cash. Inventory is not cash. Cash is what you need to pay your obligations when they fall due. And SYA is flying very close to the sun.

Are you surprised or you knew this but since its a problem number, just disregard it. Who has the stronger balance sheet now? Who isn't paying their trade creditors (i.e. Accounts Payable) ... SYA carrying AUD$60,876,000 on their balance sheet vs PLL US$5,894,000

The balance sheet is there for you to interpret.
PLL Net Cash at end Dec 2023 was US$30,364,000 and at end June 2024 was $22,961,000
So in last 6 months the "cash hemorraghing" was US$7,403,000

How much cash has SYA hemorraghed in the last 6 months ... your answer is in your balance sheet.

Now, "compare the pair" ... its an ad in Australia Arf.
