There is another company setting up a carbonate conversation plant in Bécancour which is in negotiations with spodumene producers for potential feedstock for North American car industry to supply some of the giga factories setting up there, Sayona had a mention in a couple of articles by third parties about them in the last few months (mentions were not directly saying in talks though).
