    Its my understanding that the transport cost is actually a deduction from the price, so lets say spot price is $800 the price we accept is lowered based on shipping. The solution proposed in the quarterly was to have larger loads to increase the accepted price per tone.

    There are other transport costs that would be part of the finished goods cost, those would be the cost to send spod from NAL to the rail yard and the cost of sending the spod by rail to the port of Quebec. I am assuming those costs have already been rolled into the finished goods cost.

    I am only using this as an estimation tool and will re-think its use if this happens to be way off the mark.

    As for some of the other comments about if this were true that management would be singing it from the rooftops, I say nonsense, they have been quite clear that they will only update on quarterlies. They have had lots to talk about and have not, so I call BS on those who think they would call out a particular metric ahead of the quarterly.
