There are gas stations at every block because people cant fill up their tanks at home. With time, home charging points will become more and more common, like air conditioners and computers, and more charing stations will eventually start to pop up around the place for those who dont have access to parking spaces at home. Its already happening around europe, asia and the middle east. We are at the beginging of a brand new era... things r changing.
