It is worth noting that NAL has an established rail link from the mine to the Port of Quebec and to Becancour, (no road haulage required).
Transport of spodumene from Arcadium’s Whabouchi Mine to Becancour must firstly be hauled by road 400 km to the rail head at Matagami and then travel a further 900 km south by rail to the refinery.
