Yes given they already have an OTA through PLL for our JV spod they along with Tesla already have a vested interest in proceedings at NAL if they wish to maintain or extend existing contracts.
However LG have already injected $US75m into PLL through an equity investment at $US68 share ( currently $US9)so might be a bit gunshy at the moment, would be a test of their commitment...
They along with Tesla may well be supporting the JV through pricing at the moment anyway, I think most of the production this half goes into PLL's OTA's.
