Yes, Iggy built a lithium carbonate in China 20 years ago but his company Galaxy were not able to hang onto it and had to sell.
Tianqi took it over and turned it into a profitable plant and increased it’s output by making improvements.
In this frank interview, Iggy opens up about some of the demons that he is dealing with, for his sake and his family, I hope he is able to overcome them.
Something else that came out of the interview is that Iggy is not only the Chairman of LU7, he is also the CEO/MD of another company that has non lithium battery tech that he is promoting.
For a small company with a $7 million market cap, he appears to be taking on a helluva challenge.
I wish him well but I am not getting carried away with his chances of succeeding.
Good for him if he can prove me wrong.
