Lucas is a good pick to right the ship but it should have never gotten to the terrible state it was in, Lucas' own words at the AGM 'the way things were the company was going nowhere' was an amazing statement for a CEO of a company, normally the polite transition calls for the incoming management to highlight the great position the prior management placed the company into, LD did not do that. Not only did LD tell the truth he did it straight to their faces, it's the brutal truth SYA holders deserve, and I hope they were listening.
Noting the complete lack of independence at BOD level the merge and expanded BOD is the only way LD can rid the company of incompetence. he knows what he is doing.
Once the dust settles your feelings might be hurt but at least your portfolio balance will improve.
