FEDERAL MOSEL is being refuelled by a tanker while at anchor in Limon Bay. Previous ships carrying NAL sc have waited several days to be refueled. With a bit of luck the ship will transit the canal in the next 24 hours.
I recall reading somewhere that ships can jump the queue to transit the canal by paying an additional fee. Perhaps that is happening on this occasion?
The onus to pay the fee would be on the company buying the spod.
I am thinking that would only happen if demand is outstripping supply.
