In order for Elon to deeply integrate he will need to build a cathode manufacturing plant. The giga-factory in Nevada and the giga-factory in Texas both are missing this crucial piece of the puzzle. Quebec has the solution. Two lithium hubs feeding 2 chemical plants - which then could feed a terra-factory with built in cathode manufacturing. With what we already know about Quebecs plans they would be fools to have not spoken with Elon about this. Other players like Panasonic, LG, and CATL could also do the same but I don't think any of them want to get into the cathode business. Elon does!!
