FEDERAL MOSEL is probably carrying around 30,000 tonnes of spod from NAL. From the last call we know that some, (if not all) of this load belongs to PLL. It was deferred last quarter from being shipped at the customers request.

This could mean a record amount of spod will be available to be shipped in this quarter.

By all accounts, the mine is operating more efficiently than ever.

I am expecting another shipload of a similar size to that on the FEDERAL MOSEL to be despatched before the end of the quarter.

As spod shipped at the back half of last year was assigned to PLL, I would expect a good proportion of product shipped in the next two quarters to be assigned to SYAQ.

“The bulk carrier Federal Mosel (IMO: 9766188) has a deadweight tonnage (DWT) of 36,583 metric tons. This figure represents its carrying capacity, which includes the weight of the cargo, fuel, water, provisions, and crew. The ship, built in 2017, is a Handysize bulk carrier with a gross tonnage of 22,947 GT, a length of 199.9 meters, and a beam of 23.75 meters. It is registered under the flag of the Marshall Islands and operated by Fednav Ltd.

Deadweight tonnage is the standard measure for the cargo-carrying capacity of bulk carriers like the Federal Mosel, and this value is consistent across multiple reliable maritime sources tracking the vessel’s specifications.”
