I estimate there will be around 120,000 tonnes of spodumene available to be shipped by the end of the June quarter.

That should equate to one shipment of 36,000 tonnes in Q3 and three shipments of 28,000 tonnes in Q4.

Given that around 630 tonnes of sc is produced every day, (and only one shipment made), by Q4 there is going to be an awful lot of product sitting around, either at NAL or the Port of Quebec.

We have been told the reason for deferring the majority of shipments to Q4, is to take advantage of higher prices being forecast by the futures market.

I have trouble accepting that is the only reason for back ending 70% of the available product into one quarter.

I think there must be more to it than what we are being told.

Perhaps when the EGM for the merger comes around, we will find out that there are other reasons behind the scheduling
