Perhaps it is my suspicious nature that makes me think that the reason given, is only to mask something else that is still under wraps.
For example, if the company was being prepped for a takeover, 86,000 tonnes of spodumene concentrate thrown in would make it attractive to a potential buyer.
Especially if that buyer had an immediate use for it.
