From all recent rhetoric the Li will have to come from the U.S. to meet drill, drill, drill etc.
Trump with Elon in his new Tesla is a hint IMO.
Piedmont, Nth Carolina mine and offtake with Tesla has always been positioned to fill this purpose.
I wouldn't be surprised if discussions are happening right now on the subject.
