I have examples of far right wing beliefs that have eventuated in these type of scenarios or similar from the right side , I don’t want to bog down the thread but you only have to look at Iran Israel and closer to the US you only have to look at many christian offshoots including Catholicism to understand the power of fundamentalism , never forget “religion” is an invention of man designed to “control” and nothing to do with the belief in god . One totalitarian state replaces another that’s why the “Centre” is all important . I think deep down trump is a centrist that for now is leaning right but he has leaned left in the past also , he’s behaviour shows he’s also a libertarian, just my opinion off course .
