Ill add another layer to helping out "Mr. Punter" reduce his losses. The most direct way to mitigate the dilution is to simply buy more shares pre merger. Now im not advising this and mr punter would need to comfortable buying more shares but this is what it looks like.

*This assumes 25 billion shares on issue post merger.

10k investment @ 30c = 33,333 shares. (assuming they purchased around sept 2022 when there was approx 8.3 billion SOI)

Mr. Punter owns 0.00040% of Sayona.

To maintain that same owenership % after the merger, They would need to purchase approx 67,068 more shares now at a cost of $1,341.37

They would then own 100,401 shares pre merger and maintain the same % ownership. This means they wouldnt need to be salty about the dilutive effect of the merger.

Then comes the consolidation and this has no impact on % ownership as everyone's shares get consolidated the same amount.
