On a bigger scale I can see battery manufacturing and Lithium refining being on the political table for Canada to diversify away from China.
I see one of the conservative candidates a previous Hong Kong resident has a bounty on his head to turn him over to the Chinese Consulate in Canada.
Not good for closer trading ties with China.
