Gold mining is not a lot different than any other mining , the land has to be drilled extensively to prove up resources before even considering developing, that's years and a heap of cash away from happening and who knows what prices or production costs will be years away from now.
The time to be a miner is having a mine ramped up and producing at the start of the bull run, a bit like PLS was with spodumene which coincidentally is exactly where we are now again with Spodumene, hanging in there is the painful part and comes with guarantee.
