You keep repeating the same line about Sayona having poor management (over and over and over and .... also I think you are confusing governance with management?). I don't accept your view: from my perspective the very reason for Sayona holding the line as much as it has in such adverse trading conditions, for the merger process even kicking off, and for RCF's undertaking of support is that key stakeholders have confidence in current management. Lucas Dow and Sylvain Collard have different skills sets to Brett Lynch and I think the decision makers in Sayona, Piedmont and RCF view that what LD and SC offer is what is needed in the current circumstances.
And frankly I cannot understand why anyone would continue to have money invested in SYA if they thought current management is not up to scratch. The alternative, that LD and SC are inadequate, means we are going to lose our money, simple. For me, having LD and SC stay on at Elevra is a form of keyman insurance on the funds I have at risk here.
If you think that it is James Brown and Allan Buckler running the show on a daily basis then I suggest you are again wrong. I have little doubt that Lucas Dow calls the shots, and if that arrangement was to change then my guess is that LD would likely walk. He did so when he was saving Adani's Carmichael project, at one point abruptly quitting only to agree to rejoin Adani with a promotion 6 months later. Second observation: ever wondered why a company that has its major projects in north America is going to be run from Brisvegas? My guess is that LD set that as a condition for staying on, that he wasn't willing to relocate.
