Try telling that to PLL shareholders and backers..
We wouldn't be having this conversation without PLL and it's unlikely in the extreme that anyone else that chose to back SYA's aquisition of NAL under the circumstances at the time would have done a deal any differently and certainly nobody came up with a better one which tells you a lot....it was a deal done to get the aquisition over the line and was never going to be perfect, it was a high risk aquisition for both parties.
Both parties may live to regret that aquisition but they're both contributing to try and avoid it
