Why would you think that any government would give away or invest taxpayer money in a company that knows nothing about lobbying. SYA BOD sit their asses in the warm sunny weather. How often have you heard of this BOD members or the acting CEO done anything with the Canadian government circles?? ...not much if you ask me. And then, if you were to lobby governments one needs a strong partner...maybe Ford could have helped us with a share in equity or partnership for Carbonate refinery. Too late now. The thing is that these muppets know that they will be gone as soon as a seasoned player is onboard. Hence, they keep mature partners away. Last AGM they were gonna be shown the door (BOD) but then magically they issued 1 billion shares. AISC need to have stringent rules around cap raises against equity...
