I guess there is the Optics of ......After throwing so much already at it ......vis a vis Nemaska et al ...... as well as Northvolt . And doing their dough already to the tune of hundreds of millions of tax payer dollars. After all that , it definitely wouldn't be a good look to throw more dollars at an operations that is not making a profit. What would Quebecer's think of that.....
Turn a profit ....., and maybe then we'll see something.
On the other hand. There is no excuse really for funding to advance Moblan further ......, other than the fact that they are already a 40% holder in the project......, so by definition are supporting it. The other obvious constraint for that is the fact that if they were to ' favor ' Moblan , what about the rest of the pack like Patriot , and other budding players. And as I have said previously , they have already ' lost ' as degault has stated the $400 million they put into Northvolt ......until they can find another Partner . And what's that Patrtner going to say about the $400 million. They're gonna say , " we haven't seen it ' .....so why aren't you giving us more.....
Everybody wants something ...., but there is only so much to go around.
