I think its pretty simple pal. Apart from the news today of potentially lifting C&M ....., which you'd expect to see a pop in the SP ...short term. Thite Australian's once again appear to be Shatting all over the Canadians when it comes to Lithium production.
Namely because any shift from Trump together with the Albanese's stance with regards to China / Australian relations . They stand to benefit more at this point given the Liberals previous posturing with respect to the ' Divestiture ' orders against Chinese company's operating in Canada in the critical minerals space. Whether this changes with the new Liberal leadership and critical minerals agenda will remain to be seen , but hazard a guess it won't as Canada is still stuck between the American imperative and needing to advance its own imperative due Trumps tariff regime.
I think that pretty much sums it up from a Geopolitical standpoint concerning Lithium. And they ( the Canadians ) still have the tyranny of distance working against them. This hasn't changed.
