Let's use your example of starting with 150,000 shares. At 1.6 cents, that’s worth $2,400. Now, if a consolidation happened today, you'd have 1000 shares at $2.40. Spoiler alert: still worth $2,400. Magic, right?
Now here’s where your brain really left the building: you’re praying for a 10c rise pre-consolidation. That’s a 625% jump to 11.6c, which would make the holding worth $17,400. Now apply that same 625% gain to a post-consolidation SP of $2.40, and what do we get? $17.40 per share. 1000 shares and still worth $17,400. Groundbreaking stuff.
Honestly mate, I’m thrilled you sold out. This game clearly isn’t for you. Skip the dividend stocks; hell, skip stocks entirely. Tuck your money under the mattress and leave the market to people who’ve grasped Year 4 maths.
And signing off with “do the maths” when you clearly didn’t, absolutely cooked me. I think that's enough HC for the day......
