Reading the SQM statements and noticed this.
So once the Mt. Holland refinery is up and running there will be a huge number of tones removed from the spot market. According to the SQM presentation Mt. Holland will produce 50,000 tones of hydroxide per year. So for every tone of Hydroxide they would need 8 tones of Spodumene, so about 400,000 tones. These tones are currently being sold into the market in China, but once the operation is up and running those tones will be removed from the spot market, which is huge.
