Maintaining being an Australian company by merging with a company domiciled in USA with many diverse and -in progress- exploration expenditure continuing and -in progress- production capital spending continuing. All the while making a loss on operations and hoping for prices for spodumene to go up. Not so good I'd say.
This all the while dealing with an environment in a country that applies tariffs - on then off again, then next week something new to deal with. Will spodumene from Canadian operations be tariff free for an Australian domiciled company operating in the USA? I don't think so considering last months US big beautiful bill. Not a good sign, I think.
Being unshackeled from a poor offtake deal. A good and obvious benefit, however if tariffs are to be imposed then the benefit is curtailed.

Staying as is and consolidating current operations and exploring further ties with non US interests. Resisting the diversification into US at this time would currently seem to be prudent.
Maintaining the poor offtake agreement is a cost to be borne unless the parties sort something else out.
I used to think the merger was the way to go. now ...I'm not so sure. I've really got an open mind on how to vote re the merger at this point.
