    I think its less about turning down offtakes and more about companies not wanting to get involved long term with such a small output and complex and confusion partnership at NAL. It isnt criminal or unethical to turndown offtake opportunities anyway, have a listen to some interviews from James Brown and Lucas Dow where they explain the benefits of selling on spot market vs locking in offtake.

    Im not 100% across the disclosure rules around this sort of stuff but i would assume internal strateguc conversations and options around 'potential mergers' wouldnt need to be disclosed until they officially decide to pursue it (which it was)
