Well the price momentum has risen to a stronger level than
we have been experiencing for some days and it only
took off in the last 15 mins of trade. The 2 day RSI chart
is sitting at 63 and the 10 day chart, 72. (It's been running
along the 50% line for days). It's just good to see some price
momentum for long holders and if you're a trader
and it hits 80, time to possibly jump off for a while depending
what the MACD is doing.
Interestingly, you'll see some more lightly traded shares that
haven't been doing much for say two weeks or a month and
then up goes the RSI and the MACD lines and sometimes they
will be sitting up high going sideways for days and you can
just stick with them. Anyhow, a nice finish in an otherwise
sea of red on the ASX.
