The cybertruck will need almost twice the battery of a standard model 3 and they have a ton of pre-orders. There is not enough local supply to even cover the pre-orders much less the Semi which they also intend to build. I think anyone who gets a mine up and running will be paid a visit by Elon to try and get as much as they can. And remember hydroxide is the lithium chemical of choice to create the most energy dense batteries, and hydroxide chemicals come from hard rock mines.
