CATL has been dragging the chain on this for a number of months @SplitFusion, and I'd say despite wishes of Quebec to accelerate their lithium strategy, evidenced once again by Premier Legault's comments in an article which was posted in an thread a few days back by @eh08 https://hotcopper.com.au/posts/46904284/single. Will be great if Investment Quebec has set a hard date for a response from CATL or we will take it out of your hands, but not familiar enough with the legal specifics surrounding the current arrangement or commercial laws in Quebec. Even if the deal not formalised due to CATL response/acceptance delays, an announcement of "shortlisting" SYA bid team for the SISP would be pretty good, whilst details are being formalised. Have to say, and it may have been mentioned before, the strength of Administrator for Nemaska (PWC) vs NAL (Raymond Chabot) probably has played a part in the expediency of the whole process.
