In my view Bots react to technicals (and their algos) - technicals react to share prices - share prices react to newsflow - good or bad. Share prices don't react to technicals. So currently lack of news and the overshoot retraced. Isn't it human nature to have herd mentality - so a lot sell out?? Bots don't care.
Agree or disagree that's your choice but does sound like you're here for short term and that becomes more risky. I don't really care if it goes down, I'm here for the long play so Bots, shorters or whatever don't really worry me. Can it go down the path of AJM - I would say currently no but there is never certainty - some companies do falter.
But forgetting Bots, daily SP prices fluctuate, that is no bollocks and is a fact of share trading.
