IMO this was a bad move from the company.
On one hand, the company talks about making it easier to attract for International investors with SYAXF.
On the other hand, the company allocate rights to local investors only. If you want to reward loyal shareholders, do it for all loyal shareholders. If not, just say you want to reward loyal ANZ shareholders. Then international investors just buzz off.
When one's action does not match their words, investors follow what you do and not you say, and it is not good for the company. While I am not angry and will continue to hold my shares, I am rather disappointed with the management team.
