Some go up slowly, some shoot up on news or hype, some stay on the sidelines for a while, some dwindle down and some crash. If you bought some other stock and it went up in a short time that's great - don't forget that it could have gone down too.
I topped up here today, made some money elsewhere in a relatively short time and bought some other stock that has gone down since. All part of a normal day month or whatever timeframe. Can be frustrating as well as rewarding.
You can win some but I doubt you can win all the time. On average, as long as overall your portfolio is worth more than this time last year then you're doing ok and if not, then you hope that it will recover in time.
SYA is not too flashy currently but if you sold out and on one announcement it were to double in value - you'd then regret your decision. That sort of thing happened to me on occasions - so I'm staying put - at least till an announcement that hopefully will send this to 10c (or more) on it's own merit without the need for rockets or any other flying objects.
