This deal at the time was not a bad deal and I believe there are some outs in the contracts - specifically the one that states base on both entities being able to agree on start dates starting July 2023 - this seems to be an issue for PLL and I expect this contract will be re-negotiated in due course.
The other part of this is that we do not know what deal PLL made with Tesla, they may be capped as well.
