I don't know if anyone saw the Piedmont Lithium announcement before they took it down, but apparently moments after Elon Musk said he had enough lithium in Nevada to supply the whole US electrification plan it was announce that Tesla signed a 5 year deal with Piedmont to take 1/3 of all planned spod concentrate. This announcement was then removed and Piedmont remains in TH.
My only read on this is that some gamesmanship is going on with EM to try and hold prices down while they secure every ounce of Lithium they can.
Anyone else see this differently?
