While many are debating the pros and cons of Battery v Hydrogen have a think about the car manufacturers, they will have to decide one or the other for the short to medium term as it will be very expensive to manufacture both. I would even say it would be impossible to get the economies of scale then add the barrier to change if they become financially committed to Lithium mining. They have to decide now and the available technolgy is electric, green hydrogen is a way off yet. Another thought is, if we the consumers get used to electric cars and install our own infrastructures at home together with their lower maintenance costs and efficiency, will we want to go back to complicated combustion engines ?
