Using that analogy, anyone who didn't mortgage themselves up and buy till they dropped when it was back at 8 cents also somehow missed the boat?
Opportunity shifts every day, especially in the middle of a rights offer. Buying in towards the start of the rights offer period is far less lucrative than towards the end when the majority of shares have likely already washed through.
