Ya just gotta love those ' Each Way ' bets on the SP this time of year don't you ?
But in so far as the ' Shortfall ' , they don't just advise shortfalls . They advise ' Overs' as well. And if they don't advise the overall outcome of the rights offer , its a lost opportunity in my opinion to reinforce to the Market the appetite for the stock.
Remember last time , they advised on the 23rd August that it was oversubscribed 13 odd times. And this was after the SPP closed on 18th August but before the new shares were allotted on 25th August.
So I guess comparatively speaking I would expect to hear something either today or tomorrow given the rights shares are allotted on Monday the 1st November and trading from Tuesday the 2nd ...which is Melbourne Cup and a public holiday in Victoria.
