You pay taxes when you make money...of course taxes are to be considered, like don't cash in gain if you have it since 11 month as waiting an extra month give you big advantage. In general, if I can make $$$, I do it, happy to pay taxes!
All imo...we all have different way to invest, and most are very valid.
