On the PLL side of the deal don't forget they did not get in for free. They initially spent $12m and then 25% of NAL and kicked in even more on the first 2 CR's.
Just in those few transactions they have put in over $45 Million and have not gotten anything in return just yet. Sayona will happily collect 25% of all running costs for our plant, and put their hand out for all upgrades and startup costs, so while the $900 cap on spod price seems to be low to some , consider what PLL is paying for to get it, I'm not saying it not a good deal, because I believe it is still in favor of Piedmont but its not near as one-sided as some here think it is either.
