I guess they need to start writing checks for some Lithium.
So if a Model 3 has a 75 kWh battery, then 1 cyber truck will be the same as 3 model 3's.
In 2020 Telsa produced about 500,000 cars world wide. The cybertruck backlog will be the equivalent of 3,800,000 model 3's. Basically 7x the entire 2020 world wide production.
And Tesla will still be making and selling all of its other models as well.
No wonder this is delayed so long. Their is not enough lithium being produced to even build 20% of the backlog.
