Regarding the lithium deposits in Afghanistan, I would like to note that a lot of water will be needed to get the lithium out of the ground economically. However, Afghanistan has only very limited amounts of water. A political decision will be necessary whether the usable water will be used for agriculture and thus for the supply of the population, or may go to the lithium mines.
