I agree.
This is significant info, which to my prior knowledge was not disclosed in the press release when the offtake was announced in 2021.
If there are any other French speakers on this forum, please listen to the video and confirm what I heard is accurate. I am sure Guy said "l' offtake va cesser des que Sayona progresse en phase 2", which means the offtake agreement will stop once we progress to stage 2, which is production of hydroxide or carbonate.
At this moment, there was literally stone silence for a few seconds before Guy then proceeded to say that Piedmont would in any case benefit from stage 2 as they own 25% of Sayona Quebec.
I'm not sure if he was supposed to reveal this info but I'm glad he did!
