Happy New Year to all.

A lot of analytical research is noise mainly due to the fact that no two research houses can ever agree on a company's future earnings nor company target prices. Whilst they may have more detailed information at their disposal regarding companies than some of us, their projections and target prices are often too far apart and out of touch with where the market is.

In their defense they rely on a set of figures which tend to be variable (such as commodity prices which change daily) and as such hard to predict exact numbers.

Trying to tell the weather two days out is hard enough, trying to tell it a year out is pretty much a guessing game.
