Mate , I going to dispel that notion by submitting the following comparison comments and / or previous JORC tables.

So from BBA's 2010 N43-101 NAL technical report here's what they said :-

The Spd is typically white to cream (or buff) in colour which indicates low iron content as opposed to the green colour that is more common in the Preissac-La Corne district. Spd near the mine shaft area is white, fine- to medium-grained and oriented normal to the dyke walls. Minor coarsegrained crystals are more random in orientation. Spd in the east zone is reported as pale green, medium-grained and strongly oriented normal to the granodiorite contacts. Some Spd is locally altered to a dark green colour, especially near an underground water-course, and leached Spd and feldspar occur in the fissure. Calculations for the average mineral content of the three dykes based on separation tests, with allowances for losses in slimes, fines and magnetic waste, are shown in Table 9.1. Derry (1950) indicates there is local variation in mineral content from one part to another part of the dyke, but the total mineral content within the dyke remains fairly consistent. An analysis of Spd concentrate is given in Table 9-2 (Derry, 1950)

And here is their table of mineral composition percentages at that time :-

And then here is an extract from Sigma's economic feasibility studies :-

    1.10.1 Xuxa

The goal was to produce spodumene concentrate grading a minimum 6% Li2O and maximum 1% Fe2O3 while maximizing lithium recovery.

    1.10.2 Barreiro

The aim of the test work program was to produce chemical grade spodumene concentrate (>6% Li2O) with low iron content (<1% Fe2O3), while maximizing lithium recovery

In all four variability samples, HLS tests produced >6% Li2O spodumene concentrate with low iron content (<1.0% Fe2O3).

    1.14 RECOVERY METHODS

The Xuxa concentrator plant is designed to produce a minimum 6.0% Li2O spodumene concentrate from an ore grade of 1.46% Li2O (diluted) with an average iron content of 0.97%, using DMS.

A second DMS concentrator plant would be constructed to process the Barreiro ore. This plant would produce a minimum 6.0% Li2O spodumene concentrate from an ore grade of 1.44% Li2O (diluted) with an average iron content of 0.97%.
