Not even sure why Desjardins involvement should be so surprising. Because Desjardins Capital have been spoken about plenty on this forum and were in fact involved in at least 2 prior raises including the May 2021 raise which kicked off our FIRST $20 odd million .

And you can see the strong connections to Desjardins to I.Q in the below organisational relationships Mapping.

And only as recently as Oct / Nov 2021 , they had that HUGE financial conference in Quebec r( around 1200 organisations if I remember correctly off the top of my head ) regarding funding of clean energy projects which included Desjardins as one of the featured sponsoring organisations. I remember because I wrote a piece on it and included some slides at the time. From there , there was the Quebec Investors conference......

However , if I was going to have a punt on who the 2 gentleman were to Lynch's right in that photo at the Hab's Bell Centre , I would suggest that they could even be the Desmairais Brothers - ie Paul Desmarais the third and his older and taller brother Andre. So while it is difficult to determine when someone is dresses more ' casually ' , unshaven , and wearing a Nab's Cap , the shape and profile of the face looks very similar as does the size of the Gentlemen , and the fact they are standing side by side as they often do in public appearances when together.

And perhaps that is why it received so many twitter likes from other prominent Industry and finance players.

Remembering the STRONG connections that the Billionaire Desmarais family have to BOTH Quebec as well as the Minerals extraction and processing Industries.

And as you can see they're Organisational structure would imply strong connections to the past and present Political ' influencer's' and Political party connected individuals........which is what you want in ultimately going to bat for your Projects and strategies.
