There's only one thing the CCP is truly frightened of, and it's not the US. It's the mass of the ordinary people, all 1.4 billion of them.
They're surveilled, photod a thousand times a day, but if you do THIS to them, for long enough, they will rebel.
There is no wonder the US administration is fast tracking strategic minerals like Li back under there control. Same for Europe. Chinese have no limits when it comes to the West - all and any tricker is fair game.
