I think the announcement all but confirms that a Carbonate plant (or perhaps hydroxide) will be a part of the overall DFS PFS FS or maybe FFS - The carbonate plant sooner rather than later is a very welcome addition and if it takes a bit more time to get this hugely profitable piece included now, rather than waiting til prices drop, I am happy to wait 30 to 60 days more.

I also will continue to mention the ICS process. I think it is very key and gives us a competitive advantage over traditional methods, lower cost and green - yes please.

So this is the best of the best situations to have, while Chinese converters are paying $3500 to $5000 for spodumene and having it shipped 10,000 miles across the ocean and then trucked to an inland facility Sayona will be producing spodumene for a cost per ton of $400 to $450 and shipping it a few feet across the parking lot to be converted and sold for the same price as the Chinese at about $50,000 per ton. When Elon said Lithium producers were making software margins he was exactly speaking of this.
