Overnight action on the Lithium Stocks that ' Matter ' were interesting to say the least.

Sigma Lithium down another 8.17% after being down almost as much as double that intraday . This brought its's 2 day total to around 22%.

The other Canadian Lithium stock that I watch closely is Frontier who was also down almost TWICE as much as it's 6.67% down on the final close. Keep in mind that Frontier gave up LESS than 1% the day before when most others got whacked to the tune of double digits.

Albemarle and Livent were the interesting onesfor me though as while they were off another 7.8% and 14.28% respectively , theirgains for the month were still uncannily similar at 25.44% and 27.52% respectively.......sneaky.png

Interesting as well that the sum total of the last TWO days after hours trades in Sayona represent a ' Pre ' capital raise volume of almost exactly 1% of the total Sayona stock available BEFORE the allocated raise shares come online.

So lets say that those trades were indeed the same Investor . And lets further suppose that they were or were about to be a Top 20 holder.

Under that situation or moreover scenarios , who would most likely want to adjust their holding balance to the tune of 1% before the allocated 1,054,406,346 new shares hit the market .......and why ?......sneaky.png

So for instance if you already had 5% held at the ' margin ' or even a higher percentage held ....what could possibly be the array of reasons why you would want to reduce it to 4% or some figure above that which would still require your mandatory substantial holders notice disclosure being reported to the ASX ?

This scenario of course applies to a ' Reduction ' - So Alternatively .....Why would you want to accumulate another 1% on the 2 immediate days preceding the allocation of the new shares issued at 18.0 cents in the raise. Why not wait until the day they are issued. Especially given the backdrop in Lithium Market sentiments.

And Why 1% in the first place. Are you trying to avoid a reporting situation on your movements ? Or are you trying to game and finesse your holding balance in the context of a ' Net Neutral ' position at a slight profit and still not have to report because of the NIL overall change. And who would most likely fit this criteria ?

There's also the fact that in BOTH circumstances the trades were done ' After Hours ' and outside of the normal ASX trading. So I can think of a couple of reasons at least as to why you would want to do it this way......apart from what it obviously looks like from an ' optics ' point of view if you were ALREADY a Top 20 holder......sneaky.png

Anyway , its just an observation based on what obviously looks just a matter of coincidence.
